Launch: Investment Guide Uganda

Together with the Business Scouts for Development by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH we are launching the Investment Guide Uganda! The guide will be one of 10 country specific guides available on the Investment Guide Africa platform that give insightful information on investment trends in Africa.

On the 19th of August 2022, for the official launch of the Investment Guide Uganda, a private event in Kampala will bring together important actors from the Ugandan innovation ecosystem.

During the event, to mark it's official launch, key findings from the Investment Guide Uganda will be presented, followed by an open Q&A session.

Entrepeneurs and investors will take the stage as they discuss first hand investment experiences in a pannel discussion. 5 selected Ugandan startups currently seeking investment will pitch their ideas on stage and an additional 10 Ugandan startups will exhibit during an open networking session for investors, entrepeneurs, innovation hubs, policy actors and other important stakeholders.

A big thank you to Starthub Africa for their support in organizing this event!

The Investment Guide Uganda covers all aspects revolving around investment in Uganda. Amongst many other things, the topics range from current investment trends to the regulatory framework governing investment in Uganda’s digital economy and things to keep in mind when trying to raise funds as a start-up. It is therefore a resource for both entrepreneurs and investors who are looking to invest in Ugandan companies. Considering the richness of the resource, the Investment Guide Uganda is also of interest to governmental organizations, development agencies and anybody who is interested in the Ugandan investment scene.
