The entrepreneurship policy toolkit, developed by i4Policy with support of GIZ, has proven itself as a useful knowledge repository. Our new partnership with i4Policy adapts it to support governments in the aftermath of the pandemic.
The programme “Digital Innovation Policy Commons” goal is to harmonize policy instruments for supporting startups and innovation enablers across Africa. For this purpose, policymakers are trained online and supported in the creation of innovation policy frameworks.
Together with i4policy, we recently initiated the programme because there's a need for governments to build up an economic resilience in a post-COVID-19 world. The multistep approach includes an interactive online tool, an online platform with free courses, and an African network for knowledge exchange on policy processes.
This way, policy tools for supporting startups and innovation enablers across Africa can be improved and policymakers are enabled to support the innovation ecosystems with progressive entrepreneurship policy.
